About the CMJ

After many years of hosting successful trade events exclusively for its members, in March 2026 the Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) will launch Access – a brand new exhibition open to any independent jewellery and watch retailer in the UK and Ireland with a bricks-and-mortar presence.

The CMJ is the largest watch and jewellery buying group in the UK and Ireland. Founded in 1980, it comprises some of the best independent retail jewellers and leading suppliers of jewellery, watches and retail solutions. The CMJ’s buying power ensures that independent retailers benefit from market-leading terms, greater levels of product availability, access to limited stock and exclusive product lines and deals.

CMJ members have exclusive access to top retail solutions, industry insight and financial benefits. The CMJ reduces the effort they have to go to by researching the best brands and products – as well as critical service and operational providers such as insurance and security – on their behalf. It also saves them time and hassle by providing one single point of invoicing and payment every month.

The CMJ champions each and every one of its members. It also works closely with the jewellery industry and the wider retail trade, working collaboratively to save our high streets and protect independent retailers.

As a retailer member of the Company of Master Jewellers, you maintain 100% of your independence. You can choose how much or how little of our support and suppliers you want to use.
